• Check out out my podcast interview by Dave and Sandy over at Ravencast!
• I was recently asked (again) if I perform anywhere other than the West Coast. That depends who asks me and where and when they want me to be there. So go ahead and ask me!
• I host an open storytelling group called the East Bay Pagan Storytellers and Listeners at the Ancient Ways bookstore in Oakland CA, very close to the MacArthur BART station. This is a regular meeting, held the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30pm. There are no dues or paperwork: just show up. You can tell, or just listen. Of course, we'd like to hear you tell, even if you've never done it before. I'm heathen (Asatru), but this group is pagan-friendly in the larger sense (Wicca, Santeria, Feri, and other traditions), so you can tell stories you might not feel comfortable telling elsewhere. We'll probably even understand what you're talking about. And, while this group has a pagan focus, we're happy to hear lots of kinds of stories here. Come and enjoy.
• I'm on the governing board of the Storytelling Association of Alta California, the organization behind the Bay Area Storytelling Festival. The Festival features top-tier professional tellers, and newer faces, too. It is held annually at the beautiful Kennedy Grove Regional Park in El Sobrante CA, just over the hill from Berkeley. This year's Festival will be 17-18 May 2008. Not to be missed! I don't perform at this event: board members aren't allowed to, but I'll be there if you want to say Hi.
